A Perfect Match

Perfect Match Designs is a supplier based in Prestwick who ‚ creates beautiful hand-made ‚ stationery. ‚ I was blown away by the quality of the designs that she can produce, and as a result I have selected Perfect Match Designs to exhibit some of her designs on my Trade Stand at the Ayr Flower Show.

Well as you can see from the comments submitted below, against the story titled “Pick a colour scheme for my Trade Stand”, there is currently a clear leader ….

1st Place ‚ is Option 3 ‚ – to co-ordinate with my business’ colour scheme of chocolate brown, sky blue and orange.

2nd Place is Option 1 – a predominantly green theme.

3rd Place is Option 2 – for a rich display of red and purple.

Pick a Colour Scheme for my Trade Stand

I need your help. ‚ I can’t make up my mind which colour scheme I should use for my trade stand at this year’s Ayr Flower Show in August.

The centre piece of my Trade Stand ‚ will be ‚ a beautiful rose arch, that Jo (a florist) and I will decorate with entwined ‚ twigs and a selection of foliage and flowers dependent upon the colour scheme selected.

We ‚ hope to ‚ have a black backdrop to the arch, so please imagine the arch shown above standing at the rear of ‚ a 2m depth ‚ by 3m length ‚ space.

So ‚ please let me know which of the ‚ 3 colour schemes you think would attract your attention most if you were passing by:

Predominantly green, using different shades of green foliage and green flowers amongst ‚ entwined white twigs, with clear glass beads for sparkle.
Rich display of red and deep purple flowers wired to the white twigs with minimal ‚ green foliage, with a central hanging miniature chandelier of red glass beads and fabric butterflies.
To co-ordinate with my business colour scheme of brown, sky blue and orange, we could use natural coloured twigs entwined ‚ around the arch with some green foliage but also a mixture of blue and orange flowers, and ‚ a selection of hanging fabric insects.

AABW has a Murder Mystery

The next Ayrshire Association of Business Women (AABW) event takes place on Tuesday ‚ 17th June ‚ 2008 from 1900 at the Loudoun Hill Inn. ‚ This month we have a Murder Mystery evening, as well as time for networking and a two-course meal. ‚ ‚ Further information can be requested from the AABW.
