Today I received some feedback from Tracy and Barry, who had just returned from their honeymoon ‚ and taken the time and attention to provide a full set of comments on the Wedding Co-ordination Service I completed for them at their Maybole Wedding last month.
A few of their quotes are “very efficiently prepared”, “communication fantastic throughout” and “your professionalism gives a stressed out bride so much confidence”.
Thank you so much guys, and I hope you love the photos!
This past week I have been organising sample wedding stationery to be made up for my clients, Louisa and Patrick, in the style and colours of their elegant wedding planned for next March at Balbirnie House ‚ by Glenrothes.
I have sent them three different samples to consider, each from local suppliers in Ayrshire; Perfect Match Designs, Lynn Robertson Occasion Stationery and Sixpenny Blue.
It’s been just over 6 months since I joined the Ayrshire Association of Business Women (AABW) ‚ Committee as Treasurer, and we meet every month to prepare ourselves for the next Network Evening, as well as to review progress by the Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, PR & Media Rep ‚ and Website Administrator.
We took a new photo of the AABW Committee, who met at my home this month, ‚ for our website.
The ‚ basic service I offer ‚ to clients who wish to plan their own wedding, but need help to understand what needs booked and when, and how much each aspect costs, is called my “Overview Service”.
For this service I arrange one or two consultations with the client and I supply a tailored Wedding Overview Pack, which includes:
This past weekend, I completed ‚ a Wedding Overview Pack for Gail and Gordon, as shown above.
Best wishes to them both in planning their perfect Wedding!
It’s Wedding Fayre season again, and I popped along to the Gailes Hotel this afternoon to visit the exhibitors and introduce myself to new suppliers.
I met ‚ Lindsay and Elaine who run a ‚ new local business in Prestwick called Sixpenny Blue, who specialise in handcrafted stationery, beautiful ‚ flower designs and homemade confectionery for favours. ‚ They are going to make me up a sample invitation for one of my Clients who is getting married in March.
If you missed out on today’s wedding fayre, then not to worry, as here’s a list of upcoming fayres in the local area.
Yesterday I spent my fourth afternoon at the Malcolm Sargent House in Prestwick landscaping their rear garden. ‚ At long last my voluntary team and I had dug and forked over as much as we could, and we were ready for planting.
The weather held out for us just long enough to get one ‚ area of the garden planted up and covered in practical Spey chips. ‚ I’ve attached the before and after photos, as we started at lunchtime and how we left it late afternoon.
I’m dead proud of the results we achieved, even if I did have a sore back all evening! ‚ We haven’t finished though, we have a fifth afternoon planned at the end of October.
