I was in Aberdeen at the weekend for the Association of Scottish Businesswomen (ASB) Awards Dinner and Conference, which was hosted by the Aberdeen Business Network (abn).
40+ business women gathered at the Jury’s Inn Hotel in the city on Friday, ‚ to participate in ‚ a coaching session ‚ from Martha Simpson and to hear advice from a selected panel of professional women from TIPS, Thorpe Molloy, Larosco & Befriend a Child.
In the evening ‚ we ‚ changed into formal wear for the ‚ Awards ceremony and dinner at the Elphinstone Hall on the grounds of Aberdeen University.
3 of our aabw members, came runners-up in their nominated categories. ‚ ‚ Heather Dunk, Principal of Kilmarnock College, won a special highly commended award for her contribution to business and ‚ the improvements she has made to the College in the past 12 months.
Well done ladies, and a thank you to abn for being such wonderful hosts for the day!
