Last Saturday I also helped out at Stewart’s 18th Birthday party with family at the Brig O’ Doon in Ayr, by supplying them with:
- 18th birthday balloon arrangements topped with a fish foil balloon and an octopus foil balloon
- a chocolate cake decorated with icing to look like grass and water, with a fisherman standing with his rod and bucket full of fish
- favour boxes filled with tablet, a piece of trivia, a Lotto ticket and a photo of Stewart, each decorated with the fishing theme
I have since been advised that one of the family even won ‚ £10 in the Lotto draw, so a good night was had by all!
My bride and groom from last weekend’s wedding, Sophia and Geordie, have kindly written to me this week thanking me for my help at their Ayrshire wedding. ‚ Just wanted to share their lovely words with you.
“Sarah coordinated our wedding day and helped greatly in it’s organisation. We had wanted to have a very personal, individual wedding and Sarah helped bring everything together. Her attention to detail was second to none and she was always professional and organised. From day one, we felt at ease and in safe hands. We had no worries leaving the house in the morning and everything went to plan. Bride and groom, family and friends were all able to relax with Sarah organising everything behind the scenes. The presentation and set up of the decorations was more than we had hoped for and the venue looked amazing with it’s additional decorations.”
Two occasions this weekend, and the first was the Wedding of Sophia and Geordie at the Abbotsford Hotel in Ayr yesterday. ‚ I had a fantastic time dressing the venue’s function suite for their Humanist wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception, as well as greeting their suppliers and welcoming their guests throughout the day.
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Elliott, and Thankyou!
Had a lovely busy day at yesterday’s Prestwick Promenade’s 101 year celebrations on the sea front, even with the blustery winds threatening to blow us all away.
Thank you to everyone who came by my stand to see all my table accessories and favours.
Tomorrow I will be at the 101 year celebrations of the Prestwick Promenade, where I will have a stall selling lots of summer treats like those shown above. ‚ The event starts at 12noon until 5pm on the sea front at Prestwick and there will be musical entertainment, a zip slide, fairgound rides, model boats, craft stalls, a range of food, vintage cars on display and much more.
Here’s hoping the sun shines like today, and like this time last year, fingers crossed because I hear a front is coming this way overnight!
