Sarah Plant – Owner & Event Manager
Sarah is a chartered engineer and joined NATS straight from university in 1997. She worked with the air traffic services company as a Project Manager, delivering multi-million pound engineering projects until 2014.
Whilst Sarah’s artistic flair was only ever a part-time passion (from painting, to interior and garden design), her attentiveness to detail, renowned organisational skills and creative mind, convinced Sarah to establish the event management business in 2008.
She is married and enjoys the country life based at their rural cottage in South Ayrshire. Sarah is constantly inspired by the surrounding wildlife, love of the arts and her travels.
Tracey O’Neil – Event Manager
Tracey studied Physics at university but was more social than your average physics student. After graduating, she worked in global supply chain management for 15 years and during that time, discovered her love of events through the social events team at Sun Microsystems. In 2013 Tracey was made redundant after a restructure at Oracle and seized the opportunity to follow her dream and hasn’t looked back.
Having worked at two fabulous venues co-ordinating weddings, Tracey made the welcome decision in 2018, to join us at Sarah’s Creative Occasions.
Her career change brought her back to Ayrshire, allowing her to spend more time with family. She loves planning events, especially weddings. She says it’s amazing to help couples on their special day and it doesn’t feel like work when you are having so much fun. Tracey’s other passions include exploring Scotland, music, dancing & eating cake!
Sarah’s Creative Occasions won 2 years in-a-row, Independent Wedding Co-ordinator of the Year at the Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier (VOWS) awards, after applying in both 2014 & 2015. The Scottish VOWS Awards recognises companies within the wedding industry in Scotland which deliver customer service of the highest standard.
