This afternoon I popped along to the Prestwick Promenade Centenary Celebrations to enjoy the ‚ unique nostalgic event of the seaside days in the warmth of ‚ our Ayrshire ‚ sunshine. ‚ There were loads of visitors and it was great to see the town so busy. ‚ The entertainment included:
- Open day at the Malcolm Sargent House (where I got to see their new musical garden care of West Sound radio, which was opened just yesterday by Sharleen Spiteri)
- The Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra playing
- Old fashioned coach on display by Dodds of Troon
- Cupcakes to ‚ buy from Cake of Your Dreams
- Henna Body Art
